Lucknow / Moradabad: Mr. Sampat Saraswat Bamanwali, Founder of the Eco Bharat Road Safety Initiative (www.ecobharat.co), along with Thakur Ramveer Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kundarki (Moradabad), paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, at his official residence in Lucknow today.
During the meeting, an in-depth presentation and discussion took place regarding the vision, strategic framework, and grassroots outcomes of the Eco Bharat Road Safety Initiative over the last two years. Highlighting the critical need to enhance road safety and prevent fatalities, Kundarki MLA Thakur Ramveer Singh formally submitted a proposal to the Chief Minister to adopt and implement the Eco Bharat model in Moradabad as a benchmark model district.
Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath highly commended the Eco Bharat initiative, recognizing it as a pragmatic, public-friendly, and welfare-oriented endeavor dedicated to saving valuable human lives. He emphasized the government’s strong support for impactful community safety programs.
During the briefing, founder Sampat Saraswat Bamanwali shared Eco Bharat’s recent global milestone of being selected among the World’s Top 10 innovations at an international platform in Armenia, along with key learnings and best practices gathered during their road safety study tour in Japan. The Chief Minister congratulated the team for bringing international accolades to the nation and striving to integrate global standards into India’s road safety ecosystem.
Over the past two years, Eco Bharat has been continuously and tirelessly working towards raising road awareness, accident mitigation, and implementing practical safety interventions. This high-level interaction marks a transformative step towards setting new benchmarks for road safety governance across Uttar Pradesh.
