Pampore, Aug 23: Under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama, a Special Lok Adalat was held today at Munsiff Court Pampore. The proceedings were conducted before Bench No. 05, presided over by Ms. Uzma Amin, Munsiff/Judicial Magistrate 1st Class/ChairpersonTLSC Pampore, along with Adv. Arif Hussain Masoodi (Bench Member).
During the day-long proceedings, 32 cases were taken up, out of which 21 cases were amicably settled on the spot, leading to the realization of ₹81,520/- towards settlement.
The successful resolution of cases reflects the commitment of the Legal Services Institutions towards providing speedy, affordable and amicable justice to the litigants. The event also highlighted the increasing faith of people in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms like Lok Adalats.
