AMT School, GMC Srinagar organise Awareness March to combat AIDS

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 11: AMT School, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, organized a long-distance awareness march to educate the public about AIDS. 

Approximately 200 students participated in the 5-kilometer march, which started from AMT School Super Specialty Hospital and passed through city landmarks, including Kaka Sarai, SMHS Hospital, Government Medical College, Zaldagar, and Nawa Bazaar.

Administrator Associated Hospitals GMC Srinagar, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, flagged-off the rally. Principal AMT, Razia, Medical Superintendent SSH, Dr. Rubeena, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Musadiq Ahmad, tutors, staff, and students attended the event.

Students carried placards displaying slogans on AIDS awareness, prevention, and societal role. They engaged with locals, discussing AIDS, its effects, and community involvement.

GMC Srinagar has organized a series of events to promote AIDS awareness, reaffirming its commitment to health education and combating HIV/AIDS.
