In a commendable outreach initiative, the Army organised a medical camp at Boys Higher Secondary School, Mantrigam, under the aegis of Mantrigam Company Operating Base (COB) 27AR aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the local population.

A large number of civilians, including men, women, and elderly villagers from the Area of Responsibility (AOR), actively participated in the camp. A total of 754 individuals benefitted from the initiative conducted between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs.

The medical team provided free consultations, basic diagnostic services, and distributed necessary medicines to the attendees. Special emphasis was laid on addressing immediate health concerns, promoting hygiene awareness, and educating people about preventive healthcare practices.

The initiative received an overwhelming response from the local population, who expressed their gratitude towards the Army for bringing much-needed medical assistance to their doorstep. The camp not only helped in improving healthcare access in the region but also played a vital role in strengthening goodwill, trust, and harmonious civil-military relations.

Such humanitarian efforts continue to highlight the Army’s commitment towards the welfare and well-being of the people, especially in remote and underserved areas.
