KATHUA, AUGUST 28: In anticipation to the upcoming General Elections in Jammu and Kashmir, a Voter Awareness Programme was organized today here in the Smart Classroom of Government Degree College Basohli.
The program began with a welcome address by AC Nodal Officer SVEEP 65-Basohli Dr. Roshan Lal. The primary objective of the event was to engage and encourage young voters, particularly first-time voters, to participate in the electoral process in record numbers, contributing to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
On the occasion, a documentary on voter awareness, titled “Mein Bharat Hun… Bharat Hai Mujh Mein,” was also shown to the participants.
The program concluded with a pledge-taking ceremony, where all attendees committed to participating in the electoral process responsibly.
