Bhrastachar Mukt Week: RDD Shopian organizes awareness camp

SHOPIAN, SEPT 08: Under the banner of week-long Bhrastachar Mukt J&K, Rural Development Department Shopian today organized an awareness camp at here.
This camp was presided over by ACD, Shopian, Hilal Ahmad Jerri.

SDM Zainapora, Mushtaq Ahmad, ACR Shopian, Shahbaz Bodha and other officers and officials, students besides locals and social activists were also present on the occasion.
Various speakers spoke on the evils of corruption and its adverse impacts and impressed upon all to desist from corrupt practices.
Addressing the gathering, officers said that the government is taking various measures for tackling the evil of corruption and highlighting those measures including impactful online services, RTI, PSGA, Grievance Redressal Mechanisms etc.
While highlighting the aim and objective of organising the camp, ACD said that this week-long programme is observed to discuss various aspects of corruption and take concrete steps to eradicate it.
On the occasion, many social activists were felicitated for their selfless services towards the betterment of the district.
Afterwards, an Anti Corruption Rally was organised, with the aim to convey the importance of a corruption free society.
