Srinagar, Oct 31: Devinder Singh Rana, a prominent business tycoon and BJP politician from Jammu and Kashmir, has passed away in Delhi, according to sources close to the family.
Rana, who was the founder of JamKash Vehicleads, had recently won the Nagrota assembly seat with a record-breaking margin. He was reportedly expected to assume the role of Legislative Party leader in the coming days before his untimely death.
Prior to joining the BJP, Rana had been associated with the National Conference (NC), where he had been an active leader, demonstrating his continued engagement in regional politics.
