Chief Justice visits Samba, reviews pendency of old cases, development projects of District Court Complex

SAMBA, NOVEMBER 5: Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Justice Tashi Rabstan, today visited the District Court Complex, Samba and inspected the infrastructural facilities in the Court premises besides reviewing the pendency of all ongoing projects and court cases.

On arrival, the Chief Justice was accorded ceremonial guard of honour and was accorded warm welcome by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Samba and other judicial officers, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, SSP Samba besides President and members of the Bar Association, Samba

During the visit, Justice Tashi Rabstan closely monitored the ongoing pending projects of the District Court complex. He also held meeting with the district court administration and reviewed the pending projects with them.

The Chief Justice issued strict instructions to the executing agencies to complete the pending projects within the fixed period and avoid delay in order to obviate the possibility of escalation of estimated cost.

Justice Tashi Rabstan also held detailed meetings with officers of the district administration Samba and members of the bar association Samba. He assured sympathetic consideration to demands of members of bar association Samba.

Earlier, the Chief Justice distributed wheel chairs and scooters among the differently abled individuals who had been identified by the Social Welfare Department.

Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, M.K Sharma, Principal District And Sessions Judge Samba, Ravinder Nath Wattal, Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Sharma, Additional District Judge Samba, Arvind Sharma, Registrar IT Anoop Sharma, SSP Samba, Vinay Kumar Sharma, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samba, Umesh Sharma, Special Mobile Magistrate (T), Raj Kumar, Secretary, DLSA, Samba, Sandeep Sen, Munsiff Samba, Himani Parihar; Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Samba, Rashi Verma, Additional Munsiff Samba, Kritika Sethi and members of Bar Association Samba were also present on the occasion.
