Chief Secretary Atal Duloo IAS Commends Release of Compiled Video Featuring 7 Waakhs of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani

Jammu, Jan 31 : Shri Atal Duloo IAS, Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, received a Kenzi Khoass, a bronze cup symbolizing Kashmiri Pandit culture, from Kanwal Peshin, a distinguished poet, writer, and cultural activist. Concurrently, Peshin presented Roop Dedh, a book delineating the life and teachings of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani.
The event culminated in the unveiling of a compiled video showcasing 7 waakhs of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani, meticulously selected by Kanwal Peshin from authenticated rahesyaupdesh translated into a book by Shri Satish Dhar. Peshin, integrates footage from the Mata Roopa Bhawani film, ensuring comprehensive preservation of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani’s spiritual legacy.
This initiative, facilitated and presented by the Athrot Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Athrot Productions YouTube channel and The Modern Kashmiri Pandits Facebook page, will be available for viewing on the Athrot Productions YouTube channel starting from February 1, 2024. This date coincides with Sahib Saptami Nirvana Tithi of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani, the incarnation of Mata Sharika, who was born in 1621 as the daughter of Pt. Madhav Joo Dhar of Khankayi Sokhta Dedhmar and attained nirvana in 1721. Her teachings continue to inspire devotees worldwide, transcending barriers of caste, creed, and religion.
