Haryana, India — August 25, 2025: Over 1,000 Kashmiri Pandits from across India gathered under the banner of Kashmiri Hindu Prakosth to celebrate the timeless connection between Lord Krishna and Kashmir, with a special focus on the Rani Yashomati connection, symbolizing Kashmir’s sacred place in Bharatvarsha.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Naib Singh Saini, joined devotees, scholars, artists, and youth in collective prayers to Lord Krishna—seeking blessings for peace in Kashmir, the restoration of Dharma, and the dignified return of Kashmiri Hindus to their homeland.
CM’s Landmark Announcement
The Hon’ble CM lauded the resilience of Kashmiri Hindus and announced the establishment of Kashmiri Pandit Heritage Centres at multiple locations, including Gurgaon, to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the displaced community.
He was joined by Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, Swami Kumar Ji, Sh. Raj Nehru (OSD to CM), Sh. Somnath Sachdeva (VC, Kurukshetra University), and other dignitaries.
Messages of Unity & Faith
Blessing the gathering, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj emphasized the eternal spiritual bond between Krishna, Kashyap, Kashmir, and Kurukshetra, inspiring faith in courage, compassion, and truth.
Sh. Raj Nehru described the program as a “collective sankalp—a prayer and a promise—to honor civilizational roots and work for a future where Kashmiri Hindus return home in peace and dignity.”

The Hon’ble CM felicitated eminent Kashmiri Pandits for their contributions in music, science, medicine, law, journalism, entrepreneurship, literature, and heritage preservation. Honorees included Neerja Pandit, Dr. Moti Lal Madan, Dr. Sushil Razdan, Dr. Anil Kaul, Ravi Dhar, Bimal Roy Jad, Siddharth Zarabi, Vikas Santosh Pandita, Chander M. Bhat, and Ravi Ji Bhat.
The Balasaheb Thackeray “Friend of the Community” Award was presented to Daily Excelsior for steadfast advocacy for displaced Kashmiri Hindus.
