DC Kupwara chairs DLC meeting under PMMSY

KUPWARA, DEC 14 : In order to finalize the selection of beneficiaries under PMSSY (Pradhan Mantri Matsaya Sampada) fisheries sector, District Level Committee (DLC) meeting was held today here under the chairpersonship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan.
At the outset, AD Fisheries, Sajad Ahmad apprised the chair that for allotment of one auto e-rickshaw, under PMSSY, for marketing facility of fish, 34 applications have been received.

On scrutiny of documents, 27 applicants were found eligible for availing the benefits of one e- auto rickshaw with total cost of Rs.3.00 lakhs and departmental subsidy of Rs.1.20 lakhs.
Draw of lots was conducted in presence of all the members of DLC.
Out of 27 eligible candidates, one name was selected by drawing lots who was identified as Ijaz Ahmad Malla S/O Bashir Ahmad Malla R/O Lokipora Handwara for allotment of e- auto Rickshaw.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Kupwara, Altaf Ahmad Khan; SE, Jal Shakti Kupwara, Assistant Commissioner Panchayats, Head KVK Kupwara, Assistant Director Fisheries, Chief Agriculture Officer Kupwara, and (Fishermen) applicants of PMSSY.
