DC Kupwara hands over a Motorcycle under PMMSY

KUPWARA, OCT 14: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today handed over a Motorcycle with Ice Box to a beneficiary at D.C Office, here.
On the occasion, Assistant Director Fisheries, Sajad Hussain informed the DC that the MotorCycle has been provided to the beneficiary under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) for Post Harvest Management.

The AD said that the Fisheries Department is committed to improve the livelihood standard of the fishermen community as well as fish farmers who are engaged with the Fisheries activities, adding that the target is to cover maximum beneficiaries under the scheme.
Meanwhile, the beneficiary expressed his gratitude towards the District Administration and Fisheries Department for providing the Motor Cycle which will help him in marketing his catch smoothly.
