KUPWARA, AUGUST 31: To review the progress of District Capex Budget 2023-24, CSS and deliverables for the year 2023-24, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Thursday convened a meeting of the officers of different departments in the Meeting Hall of DC office, here.
The DC took a comprehensive review of the District Capex Budget and progress of Deliverables of all the departments and directed the officers concerned to adhere to the timeline set by the government.
The concerned officers apprised the DC about the progress made so far and future action plan under Capex Budget and Deliverables.
The DC directed CEO Kupwara, ACD, CMO and SEs of JJM and R&B to complete all tendering processes within two days and also review the progress of District Capex and UT Capex on a weekly basis.
Regarding the District Deliverables pertaining to Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, the DC directed KVK Kupwara to make a nodal point of contact for these departments and also undertake proper hand holding of agriculture and allied departments on technical aspects.
She directed all the HODs to nominate a Nodal officer for inter-departmental coordination and coordination with CPO office for speedy progress of the district deliverables.
On the occasion, DC directed SE JJM and Ex. Engineer PDD to make available water supply and electricity in transit accommodations at Nutnoosa and Kulangam within one week’s time.
The DC also directed all departments to put in extra efforts to further improve the Ranking of District Kupwara on the performance index and work in tandem with Synergy.
She asked the functionaries to highlight their achievements, best practices and furnish the report regarding the achievements on a regular basis.
The DDC also exhorted the departments to devise a viable framework and prioritize implementation of these deliverables so as to improve monitoring and assessment of performance at different levels.
Review meeting was attended by ADC Kupwara, SE, Jal Shakti; SE, PWD; SE, PDD and other District Officers of concerned Departments.
