POONCH, MARCH 04: In a significant move to robust the power distribution infrastructure in the district, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting to assess the progress of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) at the DC office conference hall.
During the session, the executing agency provided a comprehensive PowerPoint briefing detailing the current status of RDSS projects.
The DC focused on various components, including material supply, feeder-wise work progress, and the status of critical items such as poles, conductors, LT AB cables, DTRs, transformers etc.
Emphasizing the need for expedited work, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned teams to prioritize sites in Salwa, Sakhi-Maidan, Sathra, Town, and Magnar. He also instructed Junior Engineers (JEs) to conduct onsite inspections to ensure proper installation of equipment and highlighted the importance of geo-tagged photos for accurate record-keeping of ongoing work.
The meeting was attended by SE JPDCL Rajouri-Poonch, Executive Engineer JPDCL, AEE JPDCL, besides all JEs of JPDCL were present.
