Ensure adherence to SOPs transparency in exam conduct: DC
PULWAMA APRIL : 30 Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama Dr. Basharat Qayoom, today undertook a comprehensive inspection of all designated centres in the district for the forthcoming NEET (UG) 2025 examination scheduled to be held on May 04.
During the visit, DC sought detailed inputs from the concerned officers regarding the preparedness and infrastructural arrangements made at each centre. He thoroughly inspected strong rooms, CCTV cameras and surveillance setup and reviewed seating plans to ensure compliance with NTA standards.
Dr. Qayoom emphasised the importance of coordination among all functionaries to ensure seamless conduct of the examination in a fair, secure and candidate-friendly environment.
DC further focused upon the significance of maintaining the sanctity of the examination process, directing that all procedures pre-exam, during exam, and post-exam be implemented meticulously as per the NTA’s guidelines.
He enjoined upon the Centre Superintendents, district officers and NTA representatives to work in close synergy to facilitate a smooth and safe environment for all candidates appearing in the exam.
DC was accompanied by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama and Awantipora, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pulwama, Tral; Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pulwama; NTA City Coordinator and Centre Superintendents.
