DDC Bandipora reviews progress of Departmental Indicators

BANDIPORA NOVEMBER 05: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Tuesday convened a meeting to review the progress of various departmental indicators on the online portal and the performance of departments.

On the occassion, concerned Officers of different departments briefed the chair regarding departmental indicators and their current status.

Reviewing the status of Rural Development department, the DDC instructed the ACD to activate field functionaries to saturate targets under PMAY-G.

He also instructed the CMO to organise awareness programmes regarding benefits of Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) cards and also asked him to reduce technology impediments to ensure maximum population benefit.

Reviewing the progress of Jal Shakti Department,  the Executive Engineer Jal Shakti was asked to resolve issues related to PWS and ensure proper functioning of water supply schemes within the stipulated time frame.

During the course of the review meeting, the DDC urged the Assistant Director CAPD to strictly monitor updation of Adhaar based KYC and ensure its completion within shortest possible time.

The DDC stressed the coordination of Horticulture and Agriculture Department with irrigation Department in the implementation of PM KUSUM to maximize the benefits of the scheme to the farmers.

He issued directives to the CEO to follow up on the commissioning of buildings with the relevant executing agencies and ensure that all institutions have adequate girls’ toilet facilities. 

Additionally, the Chief Agriculture Officer was instructed to ensure the proper functioning of Kisan Krishi Gyan Kendras (KKGs), reduce technological barriers, and ensure that farmers have access to and can fully utilize the services provided by these centers.

Among others the meeting was attended by ADDC Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt, PO ICDS Yaar Ali Khan, ACR, ACD, CPO and other concerned.
