Srinagar, January 7, 2025 — The second day of the three-day training workshop by the Asian Institute of Transport Development at IHM Rajbagh, Srinagar, drew active participation from officers of the Traffic and Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) J&K.

Shri Satyendra Garg, IPS, former DGP Andaman and Special Commissioner, Delhi Police, shared insights on reducing road fatalities in New Delhi from 2,300 to 1,800 in a short span, emphasizing the role of government machinery. Shri Anil Chikara, former Deputy Transport Commissioner, New Delhi, called for bold measures to prioritize road safety.
