JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 24: A mega SVEEP event was organised today at Government Degree College R.S. Pura to educate and encourage the voters participation for upcoming Assembly Elections.
The programme started with great fervor. Block Development Officer, R. S. Pura, Pardeep Singh, in presence of Principal Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura, Paramjeet Kour, Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Project Satwari, Tanvi Gupta, delivered a thought provoking speech. Street Play ‘Loktantra Ka Asli Mantra’ presented by artists of Natrang group Jammu encouraged the masses to participate in elections and not run away from their ultimate responsibility of voting for the stronger democracy of India. The street play has been written By Padmashree Balwant Thakur and directed by Neeraj Kant.
The event concluded with the Vote of thanks by Tanvi Gupta, Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Project Satwari with an appeal to all to exercise the right to vote for upcoming assembly elections at District Jammu.
