In a significant political development, hundreds of workers from various political parties have joined forces with former Minister and MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid, marking a major boost to his campaign. The new entrants joined Usman Majid during meetings held in the Koota Sumlar, Mangipora, and Astehngoo areas of the Bandipora constituency. A large number of new entrants from Qazipora and Laharwalpora also joined at the official residence of Usman Majid.
Prominent political activists who joined Usman Majid include Tariq Ahmad Mir, Jehangir Ahmad Khan, Mir Javeed Saleem, Shahzad Ganaie, Arshid Khan, Mohsin Ashraf Kumar, Ghulam Hassan Kumar, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Sarandaz Mir, Mohd Ramzan, Fayaz Ahmad, Parvaiz Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad, and many others. Their inclusion is a major boost to Majid’s strength and outreach in Bandipora.
The new entrants, who have reposed their faith in Usman Majid’s vision, were warmly welcomed by DDC Member Firdousa Akhter and Ghulam Hassan Lone (Urf Bilal), a senior aide of Usman Majid.

She expressed hope that the joining of new entrants would strengthen Usman Majid’s base at the grassroots level in the Bandipora constituency. She urged the people of Ashtingoo Ghat, Qazipora, and Laharwalpora to intensify their efforts and strengthen their commitment to ensure a decisive victory for Usman Majid in the upcoming elections.
