INDIAN ARMY CELEBRATES JASHN-E- BAHAR TRAL

Pulwama 29 Nov : Indian Army organised a Cultural and Musical fest JASHN E BAHAR at Indoor stadium Bajwani, Tral. Students from across south Kashmir participated with full enthusiasm and excitement and showcased their talent by their mesmerizing performances. Students from various college and schools including Government Degree College Tral, GHSS Tral , BHSS Bajwani , UPS Seer and HS Aripal participated in various cultural events.
The festival was aimed to highlight the spirit and culture of the locals of Tral sub division and promoting local talent of Kashmir valley. The local boys and girls also showcased their talent and sang beautiful songs.

Event was conducted in a competition mode and had multiple formats to include Kasmiri Rouf , Dramas, Qawalis , Gujari songs and Bhangra.
Inaugural speech was delivered by Col Rajkumar Pikky , Commanding Officer 42 RR followed by Dr Mushtaq Ah Malik Principal GDC Tral and Mr Mubashir DYSP Tral which was followed by Folk Dance: “ROUF” which kick started the event taking the stage on top and mesmerizing the audience with their enthralling performances.
The spectacular event drew a large crowd which thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the music fest thus indicating the change in Kashmir. The Event was graced by dignitaries from various levels including officials from Civil administration and security forces.
The locals expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for organising a memorable event.
