Lolab, 24 Jan 2026: In a swift humanitarian operation, the Indian Army carried out an emergency medical evacuation in the snow-hit Warnow area of Lolab in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, providing lifesaving assistance to a critically ill woman.
The 27-year-old woman, who had recently delivered a baby, was evacuated from her remote village and safely shifted to the Government Sub-District Hospital, Sogam, for advanced medical treatment.
Locals expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Army for its dedication and professionalism, praising its continued support to civilians in difficult and inaccessible areas. The successful mission once again underscored the Indian Army’s vital role in providing humanitarian assistance during extreme weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir.
