Mumbai, Sep 03 : Ever since Hindi film,” Kill “an out and out action thriller which not only received critical appreciation but was successful at the box office is now being eyed by well known producers ,they want to buy the remake rights.The South [Tollywood] well known producers are eying to buy its remake rights to be made in both Telugu and Tamil.
Our reliable source confirms, “There is a competition between two Tolly producers for buying the rights to the Hindi film, “Kill.” These two friend producers have turned competitors, though,being thick buddies, since they have studied together and are big businessmen also known to be churning out great South films for many years now.”
No prizes for guessing, opening up the pandora box our source confirms their names- The two chuddy buddies who are competing to buy the remake [Telugu/Tamil]rights of ,”Kill” are none other than KL Satyanarayana Koneru who made films like ,”Rakshasudu”and,”Khiladi” – another producer in the rat race for buying the remake rights is K L Narayana of Durga Arts – known to have made,” Hello Brother,”,”Kshana Kshanam and Rakhi “.Now he is producing a Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli collaboration titled,” Gold” [according to reports]
Our source further confirms,’ While, KL Satyanaryana Koneru was in Mumbai last week and met Apoorva Mehta[Producer & CEO-Dharma Movies] updated him about many other buyers who have also approached them.However, the most known is none other than KL Narayana.”
Particularizing further, our source said,” Apoorva has promised to decide within a week’s time as to who will get the -Tamil/Telugu remake rights of,” Kill”?
