GANDERBAL, SEP 06: In continuation to the ongoing campaign of Bhrashtachar Mukt J&K and Digitisation week, the Rural Water Supply Ganderbal today organised a mega awareness camp within the premises of DC office Ganderbal
The camp was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah along with PRIs, BDC and DDC members, besides eminent citizens and social activists also participated.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC emphasised participants to avail various online facilities in Jal Shakti, Revenue and other departments.
Executive Engineer, Rural Water Supply Ganderbal, Er. Samiullah Beigh provided detailed information to the participants about various measures taken for eradication of corruption by the Govt, which includes e-tendering, Gem procurement, e-billing, Jal sunwayi Portal, JKIGRAM portal, J&K Single window portal, water quality monitoring portal etc.
The laboratory staff demonstrated the water testing by Field test kits and use of water quality monitoring portal by people for ensuring desired water quality even in far flung areas. Field test kits were also distributed among Panni samiti members.
In the end, on the spot grievance redressal camp was organised in which various grievances were resolved by Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineers present in the programme.
