The Department of Information and Public Relations, J&K announces the launch of an online essay writing competition on the theme- “The Evolving Nature of Media in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
- The competition is open from 03rd November till 11th November 2025.
- The competition is open to participation under two categories:
- MEDIA STUDENTS: Current students of Media Studies/ Journalism/ Mass Communication enrolled in an educational institution in Jammu & Kashmir.
- MEDIA PROFESSIONALS: Media professionals presently working in media organisations based in Jammu and Kashmir.
- A prize money of Rupees 10,000/- for the first ranked participant, Rs 7,500/- for the second ranked participant and Rs 5,000/- for the third ranked participant shall be awarded.
- The length of the essay must be between 800 and 1000 words only.
- The submission must be typed and printed as PDF and submitted as PDF. (No hand written submission or scanned copies of essays shall be considered)
