J&K Pickleball Selection Trials 2025 Conclude – Road to IPA Nationals

Srinagar, October 12, 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Pickleball Association (JKPA), in association with the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) and supported by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, successfully concluded the J&K State Pickleball Selection Trials 2025 on 11th–12th October at WHS Sports Hub, Sonwar Bagh, Srinagar.

Players from across the Union Territory competed in Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Open, 30+, and 40+ categories, with top performers set to represent Jammu & Kashmir at the IPA Nationals 2025.

The Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony was graced by Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, J&K, and Mr. Riki Singh, Chairman, Woodlands House School. Both dignitaries applauded JKPA’s efforts to promote emerging sports and enhance youth participation across the region.

“The energy, sportsmanship, and talent at the trials were truly inspiring,” said Mr. Farid Singh, President, JKPA. “These events reaffirm our commitment to making pickleball accessible to all in J&K.”

“We are proud of our athletes and grateful to our partners for supporting the growth of pickleball in the Union Territory,” added Mr. Viraj Singh, Secretary, JKPA.
