J&K Raj Bhawan celebrates Uttar Pradesh’s Foundation Day

Jammu, Jan 24 : Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day was celebrated with great splendour and grandeur at Raj Bhawan Jammu today. The event was graced by the senior Government officials, students and the people of Uttar Pradesh living in J&K who were the special invitees.
On the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha extended his felicitations to the people of Uttar Pradesh and the distinguished guests present.

“Uttar Pradesh, the land of Lord Ram, Lord Shri Krishna, Vedas and Upanishads is also the cradle of Bharat’s civilization and Sanskars. I pray that the state continues to scale new heights of progress,” the Lt Governor said.
He recalled the rich history of Uttar Pradesh and also paid tribute to the freedom fighters and great personalities of the state who have made immense contributions in the building of modern India.
The mesmerizing performances by the artists in traditional attire showcased the beauty of Uttar Pradesh and local culture and celebrated the spirit of unity in diversity.
