On 31.12.2025, a farewell party was organized by officers and officials of JKAP-8th Bn in order to bid fare well to the officers/official on attaining the age of superannuation:-

The event was held at Unit Headquarters JKAP-8th Bn Miran Sahib Jammu, where the officers and staff members gathered to express their appreciation and extend their best wishes. During the ceremony Sh. Suram Singh, JKPS (SSP) Commandant in his address commended the officers/officials for their exemplary service, professionalism, dedication and significant contribution towards maintaining the highest standard of discipline and operational efficiency.
He further highlighted their commitment, leadership qualities and unwavering devotion towards their duties which remained as an inspiration for all ranks. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and best wishes were conveyed to these retirees. All the GOs, NGOs and others of the Bn acknowledged the role of the retirees and wished/prayed for their healthier, wealthier and happy post retirement life.
At the end flower garlands, and other gifts were presented to them by the Commandant JKAP-8th Bn, officers and Jawans of JKAP-8th Bn.
