Kashmir Road Safety Foundation Meets Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha for Traffic Management

Srinagar, July 01 – Chairman of Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, Mr. Nasir Ali Khan, along with officials from the Foundation, met with Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K Shri Manoj Sinha to discuss various critical issues regarding road safety and traffic management in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Chairman Mr. Nasir Ali Khan presented the Project Report of the “Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally J&K” to Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri Manoj Sinha. This rally, which travelled across all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir, aimed to promote road safety and a culture of safe driving.

The discussion also included the establishment of road safety clubs across all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation team for successfully completing the Road Safety Rally. The Foundation also shared the project report of upcoming awareness events on road safety, including a Youth Conclave that will engage youngsters from all the districts of J&K.
The Kashmir Road Safety Foundation has completed over 1,000 on-road activities in J&K for road safety and executed the first-ever road safety rally in the region, covering a distance of 2,410 kilometres. The importance of releasing a Transport Policy for J&K was also emphasized during the meeting.
