Rajouri Jun 03: The Indian Army organized “Know your Army” event at remote Luni Darman, village in Rajouri District. The event encompassed display of specialized equipment ranging from specialized latest state-of-art weapons, day and night surveillance devices and specialized equipments and vehicles. A talk about life in army was also organized along with the weapon display which was attended by children from nearby villages especially from Gujjar and Bakarwal community. With a focus on transparency and community engagement, the event aimed to foster understanding and appreciation for the armed forces. Children were invited to explore various weapons, accompanied by informative sessions highlighting the importance of defense, peacekeeping, and national security.
