New Delhi, December 20, 2025: Senior political leader, former Union Railway Minister, and former Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav, successfully underwent cataract and retina surgery today at Centre for Sight, New Delhi. The procedure was conducted smoothly, and Mr. Yadav is stable, comfortable, and recovering well. The information regarding the surgery was shared by his daughter, Misa Bharti, through her official social media handles.
The surgery was performed under the expert leadership of Dr. Mahipal Singh Sachdev, Chairman and Medical Director, Centre for Sight group of eye hospitals.
