Srinagar July 14: Commanding ( GOC ) 31 HQ Sub Area Major General PBS Lamba along with team Kashmir Jurists met the Kashmir University Vice Chancellor Prof.Nilofar Khan.
The GOC lauded the efforts and role of Vice Chancellor introducing various national and international level higher education action models in the University schedules which has opened new opportunities for youths of Kashmir, a mostly downtrodden segment of the society .
The General Officer Commanding extended his support to the Vice Chancellor as and when called for it and various support possibilities from the Army for welfare of students were also discussed .
Kashmir Jurists were represented by Advocate Col Sandeep Goswami, Advocate Kamal Wangnoo, Advocate Altaf Lone and Advocate Tajamul Choudhary .
The General Officer Commanding Major General PBS Lamba and team Kashmir Jurists also had a meeting with the Dean Law faculty Dr Hussain Sofi and possible future events and programmes were discussed.
