The internal turmoil within the National Conference (NC) came under sharp scrutiny today as BJP J&K Spokesperson, Manzoor Bhat, directly addressed the public distancing of Srinagar MP, Aga Ruhullah Mehdi, from his own party’s campaign in the Budgam by-election.
Ruhullah Sb must now clarify his stance. Is he unaware of the National Conference’s current policies or its organizational structure? Is he feeling suffocated within the party setup? What exactly has happened at the National Conference that has left their star MP on the bypass? Will he silently support the NC candidate, Aga Syed Mehmood, despite his vocal disillusionment, or will he finally take a clear stand with the people against the government’s failures?
