Jammu, 19 Jan : One day awareness programme was held at Govt. Girls Model Hr. Sec. School, Kandoli Nagrota, Zone Dansal, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP, Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The programme was attended by 100 students (Girls & Boys) of the School. Awareness about first aid, fire fighting and other improvised rescue methods during the disaster was given by the Civil Defence experts to the students. A demonstration on the above topic was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main objective of the awareness programme was to inform the students about precautionary measures during natural or man-made disaster.
On the occasion, Civil Defence certificates were also distributed among the students of the School who have attended 05 days Civil Defence basic training programme held w.e.f 15-05-2023 to 19-05-2023. Smt. Sudha Kumari, Principal of the Hr. Sec. School appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such programme.
