Sakshi Tanwar to Pranav Misshra: 4 Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actors who got their big break in films after the show!

Mumbai, May 18 : Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is one of the biggest and most successful shows to have come on Indian TV. Released in 2011, the show starred Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead and owing to its popularity, a spiritual sequel of it hit the small screen in 2021 with Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar. While the show did wonders on TV, some of its actors went on to do some amazing work in films and get big offers.

The female lead of the first season, Sakshi was already a royalty of Indian TV. But after the show’s success, she went on to feature opposite Aamir Khan in the 2016 film Dangal. The film still ranks amongst the highest grossing Bollywood films of all time. She then also did Dial 100 with Manoj Bajpayee and Neena Gupta, and Samrat Prithviraj with Akshay Kumar.
Mahesh Shetty

Mahesh played the role of Siddhant Karyekar in the first season and in 2021 he starred in the Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt starrer Bhuj: The Pride Of India. This year, he also featured alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the aerial action film Fighter as an Air Force pilot.
Ektaa Kaul
Ekta also featured in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain as Dr Suhani Malhotra, and last year she made her feature film debut with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer blockbuster Pathaan, playing a RAW agent. She also appeared opposite Pankaj Tripathi in the biopic Main Atal Hoon this year.
Pranav Misshra
Fresh from the success of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, Pranav was offered the part of the lead antagonist in one of the biggest hits of 2023, The Kerala Story, to make his Bollywood debut. After playing the charming Akshay Mehra in the show, Pranav played the strong antagonist in The Kerala Story, winning hearts with his versatility and award for his performance in the film.
