Railway Police, CRPF, and J&K Police Intensify Checking Amid High Alert

Sopore, Nov 11: Jammu and Kashmir Railway Police have intensified checking at the Sopore Railway Station after a high alert was sounded in and around the premises. Security personnel were seen conducting thorough inspections of passengers, luggage, and vehicles to ensure safety and prevent any untoward incident.
Following the recent blast in Delhi, security has been heightened across Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Joint teams of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have launched intensified checking and surveillance operations at key locations in the area.
Police and CRPF personnel were also seen conducting searches along the railway track and other sensitive points to ensure safety and maintain law and order. The enhanced checking is part of precautionary security measures aimed at preventing any untoward incident and ensuring public safety in the region.
Authorities have appealed to residents to cooperate with the security forces during the ongoing checks and to remain vigilant amid the heightened alert across Jammu and Kashmir.
