SIR imperative for the country’s soverignity : Dr. Shishu

16th December 2025, State Spokesperson Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu while giving key note address in the BJP Samba office to all the office bearers said that the SIR- Selective Identification and Removal’ is imperative for the democracy of the country and soverignity of our dear nation. The meeting was organised by District Samba Unit of BJP and presided by Smt. Asha Rani. Chairman DDC Keshav Dutt Sharma, Vice Chairman Balwan Singh, State Vice president and In harge Samba Ms. Rekha Gupta and Secretary Arun Sharma, District Gen. Secretaries Rakesh Pinta ,Amit Dubey, All Mandal and Morcha presidents were present in the function.
While elaborating point by point , Dr. Shishu said that the Hon’ble HM Sh. Amit Shah in his discussion in the parliament on the electoral reforms has actually exposed the false narrative being built by the opposition parties under the leadership of congress by spreading misinformation and lies to mislead the country. It was actually the congress which started SIR and the practice has been continued almost by all successive prime ministers of the country from Jawahar Lal Nehru, Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, Smt. Indira Gandhi, Sh. Rajiv Gandhi,Sh. Narsimah Rao and lately the same was done even by S Manmohan Singh ji and Bajpayee Governments.

SIR is an important exercise to enrol the eligible voters, delete those who are dead and also to remove infiltators to ensure the the sanctity of our election is not eroded and also to see that not even a single infiltator is allowed to elect our public representatives who are responsible to determine the destiny of 125 crores of Indians.
While further elaborating, Dr. Shishu said that it sounds bizare that the congress party is holding EVMs responsible for election manuplation which they forget that the EVM actually was introduced by congress in 2004 and they also won the elections through EVM. Is it not intellectual bankrupcy of the congress that they blame Evms when loose elections but the same EVMs are perfect when the election is in their favour which is evident in many states, castigated Dr. Shishu to the congress leadership while addressing the large gathering in Samba.
Dr. Shishu further reproduced what Sh. Amit Shah said in the parliament that Congress is the party which has been manuplating the election and resorting to vote Chori. Vote chori was done in 1952 when Sh. Patel who had 28 votes was ignored and Pt. Nehru was made the PM of country. It was again when Indira manuplated election against Sh. Raj Narain which was also authenticated by the Hon’ble HC Illahabad and Indira Gandhi made a law in the parliament that case can not be registered against the PM and subsequently imposed emergencey which is historical chori by the congress,said Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu.
Vice president Rekha Gupta , Incharge and District Presiden Asha Rani welcomed all and appealed all office bearers to take this message to booth level to expose the nefarious designs of the congress. The programme was conducted by Gen . Secretary Rakesh Minta .
