RAMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07: A vibrant Awareness Programme under the SVEEP initiative was organized today at Government High School Chhatriari in AC 62-Ramnagar, under the guidance of District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai and supervision of the Returning Officer (SDM) Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral.
The programme featured a variety of engaging activities, including cultural performances, a street play (Nukkad Natak), and informative speeches, all aimed at promoting the importance of electoral participation.
A total of 280 people, including students and local residents, took part in the event, actively engaging in these activities to spread awareness.
In his address, Joginder Paul, Headmaster of Government High School Chhatriari, highlighted the critical role of voting in a democracy. He emphasized that every vote holds equal value, regardless of a voter’s caste, color, creed, gender, or economic status. Paul urged everyone to exercise their right to vote and to encourage others to do the same.
As part of the event, an awareness rally was held, commencing from High School Chhatriari and after passing through the village culminating back at the school, further emphasizing the message of electoral participation and inclusivity.
