Bandipora, May 15: Joint security forces busted a terrorist hideout and recovered a huge cache of warlike stores during a joint Search and Destroy Operation (SADO) in the Khanjpathri area of Aragam in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The operation was jointly conducted by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force from May 14 to 15.
During the operation, security forces searched natural caves in the forest area and recovered clothing items, electronic gadgets, utensils, ration supplies and other warlike stores from the hideout.
Officials said the recovery indicates sustained efforts by terrorists to use dense forest belts in north Kashmir for shelter and logistics. Joint security forces continue to maintain heightened vigil in the forest areas of north Kashmir to thwart any militant movement and ensure area domination.
