Ms. Rashida Naqshbandi, a poise lady and embodiment of love and affection, was the wife of the late Dr Abdul Rashid Kaloo of Shivpora in Srinagar, who passed away on Tuesday after a cardiac arrest in New Delhi, with her son Aurangzeb.
The Press Club of Kashmir held a condolence meeting of its Executive Body led by its lifetime Patron / President M Saleem Pandit on Wednesday at the office premises at Amira Kadal, Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
While expressing condolences to the Kaloo family, Patron Saleem Pandit said, “This is an irreparable loss to the siblings and our prayers go to the bereaved family and wish for peace and strength to them to bear this loss.”
Notably, the deceased Rashida Naqshbandi was the sister-in-law of Greater Kashmir Editor-in-Chief of Greater Kashmir Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo. The Press Club of Kashmir also extended condolences to Fayaz Kaloo.
The patron Mohammad Saleem Pandit and general secretary Zulfikar Majid of the Club, today visited the two brothers at their residence at Shivpora in Srinagar, to offer condolences on behalf of the executive body of the Press Club of Kashmir.
“May Allah grant her eternal peace and strength to the family so they can endure this great loss,” said General Secretary Zulfikar Majid in a statement.
