PAMPORE April : 23 In a commendable display of honesty and swift action, the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Saffron Town Pampore recovered a missing bag and resolved a case filed by tourist Reshma Kiran from Mumbai within just 24 hours of the incident.
Tourists from Mumbai expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, particularly SHO Pampore Naieem Rashid and his team, for their prompt response, support, and cooperation during the ordeal. The tourists described the experience as a reflection of the integrity and warmth of the people and police of Kashmir.
Reshma expressed her heartfelt gratitude and saluted the Jammu and Kashmir Police for treating them with great respect and promptly returning the bag with cash and mobile phones.
Speaking to Morning Kashmir, Kiran Thandray, a resident of Mumbai, said that his wife’s bag went missing in Pampore. After the incident, they lodged a complaint at the Pampore Police Station. The police did an excellent job and recovered the bag within 24 hours. The bag contained over Rs. 45,500 in cash and two high smart phones, all of which were returned to them by the SHO Pampore Naieem Rashid.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to SDPO Pampore Ravinderpal Singh, SHO Pampore Naieem Rashid, and their team for their cooperation and support. He added that just as Kashmir is beautiful, so are the hearts of its people and police. From the bottom of their hearts, they salute them.
Speaking to Morning Kashmir, Pramod Ramchandra Singh, another tourist from Mumbai, said that they had just arrived in Kashmir to enjoy their trip, but on the first day, their bag went missing. The bag contained cash and valuable mobile phones. They immediately visited Pampore Police Station and lodged a complaint. SHO Sahib treated them very kindly, and within 24 hours, the police successfully recovered the lost bag along with the cash and mobile phones.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, especially the SHO Pampore Naieem Rashid and the entire team, for their prompt and excellent service.
Niyati Thandray, a tourist from Mumbai, said that they had come to Kashmir enjoy their trip, but unfortunately, her mother’s bag went missing. They immediately informed the Pampore Police, and within 24 hours, the police successfully recovered the lost bag.
I am grateful for getting the bag back and very thankful to the J&K Police for helping us. I salute the Pampore Police. Long live J&K Police,” she said.
