Barmaulla, 19 Apr : A two storey residential house was engulfed in a massive fire on Friday afternoon in Peerniya Boniyar village in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
He added that soon after’ the fire tenders and police promptly arrived at the scene alongside local residents to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading.
Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or casualties during the incident, adding that however’ the cause of the fire is yet to be determined,
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated.
Meanwhile locals in the area have appealed to the authorities to provide financial assistance to the affected family to aid in rebuilding their home.
