BARAMULLA, NOV 20: The Principal Commissioner- Delhi Development Authority, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Rajeev Kumar Tiwari, who is also Central Prabhari Officer for District Baramulla today, reviewed the arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Baramulla district.
In this regard, the Central Prabhari Officer chaired a meeting at Dakbanglow here, wherein action plan and preparations were discussed threadbare with all stakeholders.
Discussing an action plan for reaching out to all left-out beneficiaries in the district, the DC said that a Digital Van would traverse across the panchayats and municipal wards of the district, delivering the Prime Minister’s message and hosting promotional events.
Prabhari Officer further said that aim is to ensure saturation in all schemes for development of every segment of the society.
During the meeting, the ARTO Baramulla was directed to supervise the implementation of route plan for IEC vans which shall traverse in all panchayats and municipal wards while as the RDD officer was directed to identify the beneficiaries, students with exemplary performance for their felicitation.
Meanwhile, all the concerned officers were directed to work in complete synergy and ensure completion of given assignments for successful conduct of the yatra.
Earlier, the meeting was informed that a control room at the district level has been established for overall monitoring at the district level by the concerned Nodal officer.
Among others, ADDC Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraf; Joint Director Planning, M. Yousuf Rather; Manager DIC Baramulla, CEO, CMO, ACD and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Later, as part of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Central Prabhari Officer accompanied by ADDC, ADC and JDP also visited Block Sangrama where he presided over a programme and interacted with all the beneficiaries under different schemes and also held an interaction with the people to listen their issues pertaining to their developmental aspirations.
He also inspected stalls installed by various departments to showcase the services and facilities being provided to the people.
