Srinagar, Jul 25: Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year to rekindle the pride and valour of the soldiers who took part in Operation Vijay.
Marking 24th anniversary of kargil vijay diwas, awareness program was organised by 46 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of the Himalayan Mountain Brigade
In this campaign, tales of valiant soldiers of kargil war were narrated. Students from schools and colleges and NCC cadets attended the awareness program.
This program also highlighted the importance and the benefits of the Agniveer Scheme.
Overall program focused at motivating youth to join the armed forces to serve their country. The efforts were well appreciated by the students.
