Srinagar, 25th July 2023 – In a heartfelt tribute to the valor and sacrifice of our war heroes, the Indian Army, in collaboration with White Globe NGO, organized an inspiring On-the-Spot Painting Competition for children aged 10 to 15 years. The event, held at Army Public School, Badami Bagh Cantonment, Srinagar, marked the 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas commemoration.
With around 350 students from seven schools participating, the competition witnessed an overwhelming response from the young artistic minds of Srinagar. The themes, “Kargil Vijay Diwas/Kargil War Heroes, Patriotism, and Kashmir – The Crown Jewel of India,” aimed to instill national pride and admiration for our brave soldiers.

The judging panel had a challenging task, as each artwork portrayed profound emotions and a deep understanding of the given themes. Six exceptional young artists – three boys and three girls – were honored as the winners, receiving certificates, mementos, and cash prizes worth INR 12,000 for their remarkable talent and dedication.
