Abdul Majeed Lone Bids Farewell After Four Decades of Service

Bandipora April 11: A heartfelt chapter came to a close this week as beloved Employee of PHE Department Mr. Abdul Majeed Lone R/o.Nusoo Bandipora officially retired after 41 years of dedicated service. His final day was marked by a standing ovation from colleagues, gathered to celebrate his remarkable career.
Mr Abdul Majeed who began his Service in 1984, quickly became a pillar of the department.

He wasn’t just a Employee of the department, he was a mentor, a guide for us, Said one of his close Colleague Mr Bashir Ahmad.
PHE Department hosted a special Function in his honor, where the Senior & Junior Officers presented Mr Abdul Majeed with a Kashmiri Shawl & Memento. Emotion filled the Room as Mr. Abdul Majeed gave a final speech, He Said
I want to say thank you, It’s hard to believe this day has actually arrived, over the years, this workplace has become so much more than just a job to me. It has been a place of growth, challenges, learning, and most importantly, friendships. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most talented and dedicated people I’ve ever known.
I want to especially thank my team and the management for their encouragement and trust. I also want to thank my family for standing by me throughout this journey.
As I close this chapter, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and respect for every single person here. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the impact you’ve had on my life.
As he steps into retirement, Mr. Lone says “This isn’t goodbye” he said with a smile. “It’s just the beginning of a new chapter.”
