PULWAMA, AUGUST 08: The Cultural Unit Kashmir, DIPR in collaboration with District Information Centre Pulwama today organized a Short Play (Nukad Natak) under the banner of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM) and recently launched campaign ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Pulwama.
Noted artists of Tulkul Arts and students of BHSS Pulwama and Girls Higher Secondary School Pulwama performed various Cultural items and Nukad Natak regarding National Integration and inculcating the spirit of patriotism among the audiences. They also highlighted the contribution of national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom of nation through their performances viz. Patriotic Chorus, Skit, poetry and speeches.
Addressing the gathering, the District Information Officer (DIO) Pulwama, Nowshad Ahmad highlighted the significance of celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate India’s 77th Independence Day. He stressed upon the students to participate in more such events to instill spirit of patriotism among themselves.
Certificates of Appreciation and Mementos were distributed among the artists, student performers as a mark of appreciation for their talent.
