Army Chief Reviews Security Situation, Operational Preparedness in Kashmir

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Dhiraj Seth, on Wednesday reviewed the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness, and combat readiness in the Kashmir Valley during his visit to the headquarters of Chinar Corps in Srinagar Base.

During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on operational deployments along the Line of Control (LoC), counter-terrorism operations, inter-agency coordination, evolving security challenges, and arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

According to the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI), the COAS also reviewed initiatives aimed at technology absorption, capability enhancement, and integrated combat readiness across the full spectrum of military operations.

General Seth commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment while operating under challenging conditions. He appreciated their relentless efforts in maintaining peace, stability, and security in the region.
