The Army sprang into action following a tragic road accident in the Karnah area of Kupwara, where a Sumo vehicle plunged into a deep gorge, resulting in the death of five people and leaving several others injured.
Soon after receiving information about the accident, Army personnel immediately rushed to the spot and joined the rescue efforts. Despite the difficult terrain and challenging conditions at the accident site, the troops worked alongside local residents and other emergency responders to assist in the rescue and evacuation of the victims.
