Srinagar, Nov 21: Capacity Building tour was organised for the students of Army Goodwill School Shopian under the aegis of 12 Sector Rashtriya Rifles to nourish the young minds with heroics of Indian Army and encourage the budding talent and young children.
The students visited Zojila War Memorial and Kargil War Memorial where they were briefed regarding the might displayed by Indian Army in Kargil War 1999 as to how going against all odds Indian Army was able to beat back the enemy and also the stories of National Heroes were narrated to them.
On this tour, two teachers and 30 students of various age groups participated in the event. Young minds were amazingly keen to learn and know the chronology of events that led to the War.
