Awaam Ki Kahaani, Awaam Ki Zubaani, Keran Valley, Kupwara Celebrates Democracy, Rejects Propaganda on so-called “Kashmir Solidarity Day”

Keran, February 7, 2026: Under the banner “Awaam Ki Kahaani – Awaam Ki Zubaani,” Keran Valley celebrated Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, showcasing the strength of India’s vibrant democratic system and national unity. The programme was held at the Rooh-e-Hind Flag site in Keran with active participation from civil society members, local administration and youth.
The event highlighted India’s core values of democracy, unity in diversity and national integration, particularly from a remote border region that has long been targeted by false narratives. Youth, students and community representatives gathered to reaffirm their faith in the Constitution of India and the democratic institutions that empower every citizen.

On the occasion, the youth of Keran sent a clear and dignified message to those across the Line of Control observing the so-called “Kashmir Solidarity7 Day” in PoJK. Rejecting lies and propaganda, they stated unequivocally that they do not need manufactured slogans or externally driven narratives. Holding the Indian Tricolour high, they asserted their identity, aspirations and deep-rooted love for India.
The programme stood as a testimony that Kashmir’s real voice is one of peace, progress and participation, not violence or misinformation. The youth emphasized that development, education and democratic engagement are their chosen path forward.
The celebration in Keran proved that the truth on the ground is stronger than propaganda and that India’s democracy continues to thrive even in its most forward border areas.
